We are taking a moment to acknowledge the remarkable economic advancements occurring right here in our cherished Benton and Franklin Counties.

Benton-Franklin Workforce Development Council (BFWDC) is passionately dedicated to the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) investment strategy, sparking transformative change across three vital areas: Business and Economic Development, Youth Development, and Adult Workforce Development.

In Business and Economic Development, our dynamic strategy elevates awareness of workforce services available to local businesses, connects them with cutting-edge skills-based testing resources, and bridges skill gaps to drive sustainable economic growth!

For Youth Development, we're on a mission to create and expand exciting near-peer opportunities, boost awareness of workforce programs, and guide young people toward diverse career pathways—be it through technical education, apprenticeships, or higher education.

Our Adult Workforce Development plan is all about empowering ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) workers by offering upskilling and education tailored to their needs.

We are committed to reaching rural and underserved communities through strong, collaborative partnerships to break down barriers to employment and education. This strategic approach ensures that workforce services are perfectly aligned with our region’s economic needs, empowering both businesses and individuals to thrive in our rapidly evolving local economy!
