STEVENS AMENDMENT

How We Fund Our Work

The Stevens Amendment is a federal regulation that requires a funding disclosure statement on all state and local projects or programs that use federal funds.

The federal government wants to ensure transparency and accountability, which is why they've set a regulation that requires recipients of grants from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Health and Human Services (HHS), and Education to make a statement. This disclosure includes details like the percentage of project costs financed with federal funds and the percentage and dollar amount financed by non-governmental funds. It's all about being open and honest with how federal grant money is being used!
