Tri-Cities MSA Labor Area Summery 12.22

Good afternoon,

Kennewick-Pasco-Richland MSA not-seasonally adjusted unemployment rate edged up from 5.1% in October to 6.2% in December 2022. December’s Labor Force saw gains in unemployed workers, while number of employed individuals decreased over the month.

Metropolitan area nonfarm jobs decreased by 700 jobs in December 2022 over-the-month, while Over-the-year, KPR Regions total nonfarm jobs increased by 4.7% (5,600).
